Noch Plätze frei: Teaching in English
In dem Workshop "Teaching in English" sind noch Plätze zur Teilnahme frei. Er findet am 21. März 2016, 10:00-17:00 Uhr bei Alexandra Bergedick statt:
In this workshop, we will look at principles and practices of how to coherently plan and carry out your university classes in English. Our central aim will be to enhance your teaching skills in English, in order to encourage your students’ active participation in the learning process in English. By means of simulations, you will practice planning, carrying out, evaluating, and optimizing teaching-learning-sequences in English. We will also look at a variety of evaluation methods to show the students’ learning progress during a running semester and provide feedback.
Contents:
- terminology for the Academic English classroom
- activating learning methods, i.e. for discussion, evaluation, feedback in English
- students‘ English presentations & feedback criteria
- examples and resources for seminars in English to improve Academic English skills for lecturers and students
